Software Consortium CEO Janet Amirault Named 2012 Maryland Small Business Person of the Year
Columbia, MD - April 13, 2012 -Janet Amirault, Chief Executive Officer of Software Consortium (SCI), a leading information technology solutions and professional services provider to commercial and government institutions in the Mid-Atlantic region, has been named the 2012 Maryland Small Business Person of the Year by the U.S. Small Business Administration.
The award, which recognizes outstanding small business owners for their personal contributions to the nation, was presented to Amirault at a luncheon celebrating Maryland's outstanding entrepreneurs and small business advocates today in Woodlawn, Md. Amirault also will represent Maryland at the National Small Business Week celebration May 20-22 in Washington, D.C.
