Our series about naturally occurring groups and their impact on communication and human dynamics, or "Tribes" is based on research from University of Southern California authors in the book Tribal Leadership. They present an approach that can leapfrog organizations over global competitors.

With the retirement of Steve Jobs and worldwide acceptance of the iPad, we share apps that will increase productivity in the workplace. I was an early adopter of the iPad, and with the use of many of these apps and more, the iPad has happily replaced my laptop as my primary business tool! Quite exciting!

We also highlight "decision fatigue", which was recently the subject of a New York Times article. Decision making can bring about a 64 times increase on investments, so learning how to choose the best times for decision making can be the best new "tip" of your life!
