Personal Computer CHELCO Electronic Bill Statement Notification Service (E-Billing) gives our members the option of receiving their monthly electric bill statement via email instead of the traditional paper statement delivered by the United States Postal Service.

By participating in E-Billing, our members are helping to protect the environment by reducing the amount of natural resources required to service their account. Additionally, this service will help CHELCO reduce billing and postage costs.

If you are interested in taking advantage of this service opportunity, please visit one of CHELCO's six area offices and complete a registration form.

For your convenience, click the link below and print out the form. Complete the form and send to CHELCO with your next bill payment.

 CHELCO delves into Social Media

Important News Now you can find out what's happening throughout CHELCO's communities and around the service territory with the new Power Talk Forum.

This is CHELCO's new means of communication with members on the co-op Web site. New messages will be posted weekly on a variety of topics, including what's new at CHELCO. Messages will be updated more frequently in the event of storms or other outages.

Members must register to ask questions or simply comment on the posting. Mark www.chelco.com in your "Favorites" file, so you'll be ready when you need to see what's happening.

More and more co-ops are turning to social media to connect more quickly with members. It proved to be especially useful in the aftermath of Hurricane Irene in August. One co-op in North Carolina had only 29 people on its Facebook page until the storm hit. Then they had more than 500 logging on to check restoration efforts.
