Renew Your Alabama BNF Membership
Guatemala Mission TripWe want to encourage you to renew your Alabama BNF membership. By renewing you help insure that we can provide quality CEU events at a minimal cost to participants. Alabama BNF members have many opportunities to serve the Lord on international and local mission trips.  The annual dues also help us to offer membership to missionary nurses at no cost and student nurses at half price. Why not consider giving a gift membership to your favorite nurse. E-mail Lucretia Mobbs for details.

You may renew your membership at our annual retreat, or go to the Alabama BNF web page to download the membership renewal/application. Return it to Alabama WMU, P.O. Box 11870, Montgomery, AL 36111-0870, along with your check for $30.

New National BNF President
Kay WarrenCongratulations to Margaret (Maggi) Payne, the new President of National BNF. She is a retired educator from Hattiesburg, Mississippi. Maggi has been married for over 40 years to Jimmy Payne who is also a BNF nurse. They have two sons (the older son is also a nurse). Maggi says, "With our profession in common, God has given us many opportunities to serve together in missions." They are members of Main Street Baptist Church in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, and associate members of Baring Baptist Church in Baring, Maine, near their summer home.

Maggie shared this thought at the National BNF meeting,"As Christian nurses, we have the opportunity to share Christ with those around us. Although many in the world are not open to the gospel, Christ's love is a lifeline to a suffering person who accepts the love of God and the hope of an eternal home in heaven.Tell a nurse friend what BNF means to you. Invite him or her to become a member of BNF."
