Maybe it's all the nice weather we had this fall...maybe it's the new and interesting projects we're embarking on...but something just makes us want to give a joyful shout right now! Here are a few things we think are worth making a little noise about this month.

Dream a Little Travel Dream
If you've been sitting at your desk, daydreaming about a winter getaway or even spring break, maybe it's time to take it to the next level. A new website, Wanderfly, will take your daydreams and suggest a vacation for you - perhaps to a destination you didn't even know existed.
Just enter your travel budget, travel dates, and a few of your interests: Beach? Party? Casino? Culture? You can indicate where you want to travel, or leave it up to Wanderfly. Push the Get Going button and your results will include several suggestions that meet your parameters, including airfare, hotels and possibly a destination new to you. Go ahead, quit dreaming and plan your adventure!

 You see these graphics on magazine ads, store displays, business cards and more. They are quick response (QR) codes that, when scanned with your smartphone, deliver an interactive experience. Learn more [PDF].

What Would You Write?
Here's a simple word game to liven up your holiday gatherings. Pass out two notecards to each guest and tell them to write down two things about themselves that no one else knows. If your guests know each other very well, you may want to suggest they alter their handwriting so that it doesn't give them away.
Collect the notecards, fold them in half to hide the revelations, and put them into a basket. Each guest then draws two cards and has to find the authors for both. It's fun to take turns guessing - at the Thanksgiving table, perhaps - until all the clues are read. If you want to give out prizes, the first guests to identify their authors win. But, of course, everyone wins by sharing and learning something new.
