TTIA Rising Star Award

Deadline Extended Through Wednesday, July 20

Recognize a Rising Star in your organization by nominating them for TTIA's Rising Star Award

A Rising Star is a young professional, 35 and younger, who has demonstrated outstanding leadership and innovation early in their career. It is a great way to recognize our young leaders for their achievements and contributions to the travel and tourism industry!

Along with industry recognition, the winner will be awarded a complimentary registration to the 2012 Travel and Tourism College. The 2011 Rising Star winner will also get the unique opportunity to sit on TTIA's Board of Directors as an Of Counsel* member for the 2012-2013 board cycle.

The winner of the 2011 Rising Star Award will be announced at Travel Summit in San Antonio on Wednesday, September 21, 2011. Click here to nominate or download the Nomination Form here.

*Of Council board members are non-voting members of TTIA's Board of Directors.

Send a Student To Summit

Check the box to donate $60

We invite students from travel & tourism programs at our colleges and universities to attend the Monday programs of Texas Travel Summit at a discounted rate of $60.

Some students cannot afford the $60 rate.  Through the generosity of our members, we have been able to offer student scholarships to enable those students to attend.  So far this year, Wildcatter Ranch and Phillips Entertainment Inc. have generously donated $60 each so that two students can attend Summit.

It's very easy to Send a Student to Summit!  Just check the box on your Summit Conference Registration Form and we'll add $60 to your total!
