Kick-off to Kindergarten at Marbles Kids Museum
Saturday, August 18 | 9am-5pm
A special day all about kindergarten! Celebrate this major educational milestone with playful practice, like to riding on a school bus, making healthy food choices in a pretend cafeteria, participating in circle time, radical recess and much more! Marbles has been awarded a major grant from the US. Institute of Museum and Library Services for a new program called "Ready Set, School," putting us on the map as a nationally-recognized leader in providing play-based learning experiences for children. This generous grant will fund a new simulated classroom exhibit, play-based school-like programming and museum events that help children develop skills for success in learning.

Get inspired by Olympic athletes and create action art! Strike an action pose and use your silhouette to design yourself as an athlete. Create your own Olympic medal and win the gold for creativity.
