Family Camp-In
Saturday, January 28 | 6pm-9am
$42/person or $150/family of four
Break out your sleeping bags and join us for a night "camping in" at Marbles! No bugs. No weather worries. Just the fun stuff.
Start with dinner, enjoy camp-like activities, and spend free time exploring the museum and playing games. End the evening with campfire stories, s'mores and hot chocolate. Camp out "under the marbles" in the exhibits; bring your own tent or reserve a free tent compliments of our friends at REI, who will be on-hand to share their expertise for those new to camping. After a night in the museum, wake to a continental breakfast and special screening of an IMAX movie. Dinner, s nack and breakfast all included. Find out more>>

Museum open 9am-5pm
Ring in the "noon" year with bubble wrap "fireworks" and a jammin' ball drop at high noon. Guests wearing a First Night Raleigh button receive buy-one-get-one-free museum admission (limit 4) and a free small popcorn with the purchase of an IMAX movie ticket on Saturday, December 31. |

Help us celebrate community heroes on MLK Day at Marbles. Meet a fire fighter, police officer, paramedic and more. You can be a helpful hero too - join us in packing food for the Backpack Buddies program to feed children in need from 10am-1pm.

The Biogen Idec Micro-Grants in Science Education Fund of Triangle Community Foundation has underwritten educational materials for biology and life science as part of the Born to Be Wild 3D IMAX Learning Lab. The NISENet mini-grant program has also provided funding to help implement nano-science in our summer science camps in 2012. | |
