PARKING NEWS 

The owner of the parking lot on Morgan Street (behind our IMAX Theatre) has announced that he will begin towing non-paying cars. If you park in this lot, please use the pay station to pre-pay for the anticipated hours you plan to stay. Other parking options include the Wilmington Street parking deck and on-street metered parking. Both the deck and street parking are free on weekends.

Calling all LEGO lovers...this day is for YOU! Learn LEGO engineering techniques that help you build super-strength bridges and towers. Add weights and put them to the test. Which will be the last one standing? Great for kids ages 5-10. In partnership with LEGO KidsFest.

City of Raleigh Arts Commission! 

Marbles is pleased to announce funding from the City of Raleigh Arts Commission for "Play-date with an Artist," a new artist-in-residency series designed to bring local artists into the museum for hands-on, minds-on creative inspiration!  Be on the lookout for more details about the program, kicking off this fall. This project is funded in part by the City of Raleigh based on recommendation of the Raleigh Arts Commission.

Marbles is showcasing at LEGO KidsFest on October 7-9 at the Raleigh Convention Center, and we need your help!  Volunteer to assist at our "Build Your Brain with Marbles Kids Museum" activity booth, and help KidsFest attendees create a mini masterpiece using LEGOs as stamps.
