Welcome to the March edition of The Marbleous Monthly.  

 

Spring is on its way, and Marbles is bursting with fun programs and activities. Join us for St. Patrick's day activities, the grand opening of Pet Vet and a visit from the Tarheel Tale Tellers. This month, spring into play with us!

PetVetPET VET Grand Opening Celebration

Saturday, March 19| 9:00am - 5:00pm

Ribbon cutting ceremony at 11:15am

Celebrate the grand opening of Pet Vet, our latest Around Town exhibit. Kids of all ages love caring for their furry pals, and in this new exhibit they step into the role of friendly vet as they look after the pets in their care. Special grand opening activities celebrate our four-legged friends all day. Join us for FutureVet® from 10:00am-11:00am led by Banfield Pet Hospital.  Stay for a purrrfect afternoon of play including a howl/meow contest and face painting. Share your love for wagging tales and kitten whiskers by bringing a donation of pet food for the SPCA.
Free admission for Banfield employees and families.

Dig in the dirt with Advocates for Health in Action at Marbles Kids Museum. Learn to build, maintain and sustain a community garden through informative workshops and booths. Whether your neighborhood, workplace or school is looking to grow healthy, fresh food, or you're a home gardener looking for tips and advice, Dig In is for you!This summit is free and open to the public. Kids will explore careers in pet health, meet a therapy dog and graduate with a FutureVet® certificate. There is no additional fee to attend this workshop.

Have a preschooler or a child who loves her American Girl doll? We have two great new opportunities available for play in April!  

Preschool's Out Camp is a daily, morning camp available during the week of April 18-22. This is a great time to relax, run errands or have brunch with your friends! 

 

Book your April 2 overnight with your gal and her American Girl doll and enjoy what the museum has to offer, as well as activities that mirror the ideals of the American Girl dolls. 

 

 
Summer Camp Registration is Open!
Our award-winning camp program offers the BEST of Marbles all summer long. We've packed it all into our summer - from Kitchen Concoctions, to Diggin' Downtown, to the return of the popular Colorful World of Eric Carle and IMAX Movie Maker, there's a camp for everyone. Lucky you, you're invited to march with Marbles Kids Museum in Raleigh's St. Patrick's Day Parade! Meet at the museum at 11:00am, put on your favorite Marbles gear and head down to the designated parade location. The parade lasts about 1.5 hours. Sign up with Heather Rook at 919.857.1007.
