Marbles is turning 2! Come celebrate with special activities and surprises throughout the museum.
- Our birthday gift to YOU, buy two regular museum admissions, free (limit 2 free per family) and each Marbles member child can bring a friend to the museum for free, valid Saturday, September 26 - Tuesday, September 29, our actual birthday!
- Get whisked away as the Tarheel Tale Tellers bring stories to life on Saturday, September 26

 Zap! Bow! Boom! New! Marbles Action Cards have kicked into play. Take Marbles home! In the car, at the grocery store, on a road trip ... these cards are great for families on the go. Start collecting today -- grab the first round of action cards on your way out of the museum. Check our website for play pieces and special bonus cards. Cards rotate each Wednesday.

Thursday, October 8 | 5:30pm-8:00pm
Kids with special needs and their families are invited to dress in their Halloween costumes and join us for an evening of fun. Marbles turns into pumpkin's paradise with creepy crawlies from the NC Museum of Natural Science, cauldrons of ooey gooey witch's brew, seasonal stories, a special appearance by the Star Wars inspired 501st Legion and a monster mashin' dance party. Beverages and hot dogs will be provided; feel free to bring a picnic dinner. Family Fun Night is free, and exclusively for children with special needs and their families.

Visit Marbles at the North Carolina State Fair

Visit us at the NC State Fair next to Dorton Arena near the Jim Graham Building. Marbles is partnering with UNC-TV to excite and delight kids with special Marbles activities, storytime and visits from your favorite UNC-TV and Marbles characters.

First Fridays Kids Camp gives kids the chance to have a night out
without their parents (and vice versa)! While children enjoy Marbles,
parents have the chance to explore First Fridays galleries and
restaurants in downtown Raleigh. This program is an exclusive benefit
for members of Marbles Kids Museum.
This month only, kids are invited to dress in their pajamas and bring their favorite stuffed buddy for a First Fridays Kids Camp Pajama Party! Campers will have a whole lot of fun in IMAX Venture Hall, with dinner compliments of Roly Poly, craft activities, a souvenir photo with their stuffed pal, a dance party and milk and cookies bedtime stories.
