Music Day at Marbles is part of the Cross Currents Chamber Music Festival, with various performances July 2-11. A ticket stub from any of the Festival concerts can be redeemed for one free admission to Music Day at Marbles.

Thursday, July 9, 2009 5:30pm - 8:00pm Marbles Kids Museum, The ARC of Wake County and other local organizations dedicated to the support of and service to the special needs community have teamed up to bring you an evening of play and learning entirely for children 10 and under with special needs and their families. This after-hours event allows children with special needs to experience Marbles in a calmer, less crowded environment. Museum exhibits offer opportunities to enhance language development and social skills through purposeful play. This free event is limited to children with special needs and their families.

School's Out Camps Coming Soon When summer comes to an end in August, Marbles rolls out "School's Out Camps!" These one-day and weeklong camps are designed specifically for the days (or weeks) your kids have off but you don't - teacher workdays, school holidays and winter and spring break.  Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince: The IMAX Experience Opens Wednesday, July 29 It's worth the wait to experience larger-than-life magic and wizardry! As Harry Potter begins his 6th year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, he discovers an old book marked mysteriously "This book is the property of the Half-Blood Prince" and begins to learn more about Lord Voldemort's dark past. Select scenes exclusively in IMAX 3D. Tickets go on sale July 8 for members and July 15 for the general public.

IronFlix Saturday, July 4, 11:00am-3:00pm Come to Venture Hall in the IMAX building at Marbles on Saturday, July 4, for the free IronFlix children's film festival. Presented by KIDS First! and part of IronKids Raleigh Triathlon, IronFlix has multiple viewings including a mix of inspirational animated short and feature films.
