For the wedding cake - the Italians prefer a cake that is delicious to eat, rather than excessivly decoarative. But we are able to meet your needs, given your preferences and choices. As you'll note, the cake moment in the meal also lends itself for creative input, and added specacle - we often make a special tent for the cake, and occasionally prepare the cake with our team real time, in front of the guests.

The music at a wedding, be it a civil wedding in a town hall, a religious wedding in a chapel or church, or at the reception, is responsible for setting the atmosphere, the tone and the style of the wedding.

The directors of Italyweddings come from creative backgrounds - painting and fashion design - but have channelled these talents into truly successfully designed weddings.

At Italyweddings we understand that wedding day transportation can be one of the most important factors for the smooth running of a wedding schedule. We can arrange for you and your party both chauffeur driven saloon cars, minivans, small and large coaches. We can set up all the movements on the wedding day, as well as other times during your vacation, such as airport pick-ups, and other tours throughout Italy.

We also have a number of self drive cars, for a truly special stay in rural Italy.

We arrange services that can be professionally and comfortably be performed in private villas and hotels, both on the wedding day, and if requested, for the pre-wedding trial.

Italian marriages were arranged by the families of the bride and groom. Often, the brother or another male relative of the groom went to the father or uncle of the young woman to ask for her hand in marriage. In some cases, a matchmaker sent a message (masciata) to the prospective bride's family of the man's intent to marry the bride. Once the two families were in accord, the couple's official engagement was announced.
