Bring your questions about the status of DOMA, what benefits we are eligible for right now, and gain some firsthand knowledge about HR 6046, the brand new bill introduced today by House Armed Services Committee Ranking Member Adam Smith (D-WA). The Military Spouses Equal Treatment Act of 2012 (MSET) would change the definition of "spouse" in four areas of U.S. Code related to recognition, support, and benefits for married service members and veterans, making these families eligible for key benefits.
