Shines a Spotlight on our Military Children

 


Meg Rapelye (right) is a full-time social work graduate student and resides in the Greater Richmond, VA area with her partner of 6 years, Katrina (center), and their daughter, Elly (left).  Meg is a former active-duty Coast Guardsman and Katrina is currently serving in the Coast Guard, stationed at Ft. Lee, VA.  The family's favorite pastimes include travelling and outdoor activities.
Capital Summit 2012

The OutServe Capital Summit will take place on May 14 and 15, 2012 in Washington, D.C.

 

The two-day event will focus on LGBT military families. The first day, May 14th, is dedicated to workshops and presentations regarding how we can make LGBT military families stronger. The second day, May 15th, is dedicated to congressional education with our coalition partners, including The Human Rights Campaign (HRC), Servicemembers Legal Defense Network (SLDN) and Courage Campaign. The event will be hosted at Renaissance Washington, DC Dupont Circle.
