Are you ready for one of the most thrilling auction experiences of your life? Well, get ready, because the Maumee Valley express is steaming down the tracks and will be pulling into the station on May 19th! Aboard the train is a bounty of cargo, ready to go to the highest bidder. There is something for everyone, so don't wait, book your tickets today!
The silent auction opens online to the public on May 4th, two weeks before the main event, and will remain open through the live auction on May 19th. You can now preview a sample of some of the silent auction items on the website. Don't forget to register your cell phone to participate in the mobile bidding.

Featured Nostalgia Items: Weathervane Tie & Scarf

This month's featured silent auction nostalgia items are a silk men's tie and a women's scarf with Maumee Valley's Weathervane logo embroidered on them.
The silent auction will open online to the public on May 4th, two weeks before the live event. There will be a number of items available for bid at that time, including the "class year key chains," and other alumni nostalgia pieces.
All silent auction items will be available for bidding through the end of the live event on May 19th. So, don't miss out!

West Coast Review

Alumni reconnected along the west coast during the week of April 9-13. Thank you to those who turned up in support of the West Coast network and especially to our gracious hosts for holding the events in their hometowns: Pieter Salverda '91 in Seattle, Fraser McAlpine '71 in San Francisco and Ron Birnbaum '89 in Los Angeles. We're Having a Reunion!
July 20, 2012: Reception at Maumee Valley in the new Upper School Commons with drinks, snacks and a tour of the new school building. Possible outing to the Mudhens afterwards.
July 21, 2012: Afternoon swimming and snacks at the Foster's house with a picnic lunch.
July 21, 2012 (evening): Dinner at Weezie Foster Stoddard's house.
Sunday, July 22, 2012: Morning brunch at Alex Bowe DeRosa's house.

This fiscal year, our goal is to raise the level of alumni participation in the annual fund to 20% by June 30, 2012.
As of May 1, 12% of alumni have made a gift to the Annual Fund!
