Shop Alumni Art for the Holidays

Will Santino Illustrations

There are so many talented Maumee Valley alumni working in practically every profession. You can help support your fellow alumni in their work. This Holiday season, instead of buying another gift card or Yankee Candle, why not personalize your gifts and support alumni at the same time?

Consider buying a framed illustration by young alumni, Will Santino '07. Will is working on a graphic novel "The Wonderful Plague." Illustrations from the book and other prints are now for sale on his website. www.willsantino.com.

Cowie Platinum Editions

Ron Cowie '88, another featured alumni artist, uses an early 20th century printing technique, called platinum printing, to make his art. Cowie's latest collection, Oyster Trading Cards, are available for sale through his website and online store.

Click the image to the right, or go to www.cowieplatinum.com to read more about his process and order your trading cards today.

"Retro" Design Contest
Retro Cupola

The Alumni Council will launch a "Retro" wearables line in 2012, available for alumni online through the website and facebook. We need your help finding the right design. The Alumni Relations Office is now holding a contest that lasts until February 23, 2012. We are looking for "retro" designs to print on alumni promotional gear. The designs can be anything from a likeness of an old mascot, logo, or even a former faculty member or Head of School. The winning designer will receive some cool gifts from the school, and have his/her design featured on the 2012 Alumni Retro Gear. For more information and contest rules & regulations, click here.

Need inspiration? Download pdf of the Weathervane & Cupola logo. Submit your designs to alumni@mvcds.org.
