NOW
Only one moment......NOW
Here, in the NOW moment, all is what it is. Nothing else exists. There is no other moment. Past, present and future all occur within the NOW.
This newsletter is ALL about this truth and the corresponding processes that emerge as one awakens, i.e. emotional clearing, soul retrieval, re-membering who one truly is, integration of fragments of self, and putting the purpose of awakening first. This current issue completes one year of AWAKEN INSIGHTS's presence on the internet! You are invited to view past issues here, for more information about the processes mentioned above, all written to enhance Awakening.
There is nothing new here. The teachings are not new....they are ancient and emergent in all conscious beings. There is only heart-speak from the writer's unique point of reference as an individualized expression of the ONE. The words come from the heart of the writer, a heart that flows with the joy of placing all her focus in the NOW, and a heart that is deeply grateful to all who take the time to read, contemplate, and meditate on the NOW. For as each of us puts this purpose first, our personal and planetary consciousness raises to the higher levels needed to birth a new world.
Back to the past/present/future NOW......Here is an excerpt from the October issue:
"So, here is how I believe we can best be active participants in the creation of the New Earth. We co-create through consciously utilizing the power of the NOW moment, for this moment is the portal/gateway into the Source of Creation.
While journaling one day using automatic writing, on the topic of the mystery of the NOW, I was given this phrase to use for the NOW:
Never-ending
Omnipresent
Wisdom
This moment is never-ending, it's eternal. Stop right now, take a few breaths, close your eyes and meditate on the feeling of eternity/infinity that exists in this moment.
Each moment becomes the next moment, and your energetic awareness tracks each . and . every . now . now . now.......it is endless.....do you see?
The NOW is omnipresent....present . everywhere . all at once. This moment is not contained by time/space.......meditate on the freedom inherent in this.
And in this freedom exists an awareness that is infinitely wise and all loving. This is the wisdom-love inherent in your Essential/Higher Self directly plugged into the universal Source of Creation at the level/dimension of ONENESS.
NOW is the portal/gateway.
NOW is the moment of co-creation."
One can deepen into the NOW through various practices. A way that is very effective is to simply commit, throughout your day, to focusing your attention completely in the present moment. Especially during a physical activity, such as walking, running, yoga, washing dishes, checking email, "chop wood, carry water", etc., when the mind tends to wander into the past or future, simply bring your attention back to the NOW moment with the commitment of seeing it as ALL THAT IS. Even when setting goals or making plans for the future, one can be aware of the existence of planning as an activity occuring NOW, because it is!
And so it is....

WESAK FESTIVAL
FULL MOON IN SCORPIO
MAY 5th
If you have been feeling the call to service, or the will-to-good, lately, it is because we are approaching the annual festival of the Buddha, called the Wesak Festival, that occurs every year when the moon is full in Scorpio (sun in Taurus). In the words of Alice Bailey:
"Wesak - the Sun in Taurus - Scorpio Full Moon - is the most powerful Full Moon of the year. The Sun's transit through Taurus exalts the Moon and Taurus is ruled by Venus, the spiritual ruler of Earth. Venus is identified with Mary, the World Mother. May, the month of Taurus, is the month of Mary. Venus appears in the west as the feathered serpent god Quetzalcoatl who brought enlightenment to the Mayans; in the east she is Maya, mother of the Buddha.
The lunar cycle is a wave of creation that comes to fruition when the Moon is full. Each Full Moon brings revelation and possibility for healing body, mind, and soul. The Moon is the Mother whence comes reflected Light of the spiritual Sun to nurture, support, protect, and bring to flower the seeds of creation.
The Full Moon is like a pitcher pouring out a healing elixir. The celestial dispensation continues for three days following the day of the Full Moon. Calm and balance, deep breathing, meditation, yoga, rhythmic music and dancing help for receiving the blessings of heaven.
According to metaphysical tradition, the Buddha was born, attained enlightenment, and left Earthly incarnation under the Full Moon of Taurus. And the Buddha returns at this time each year to bring new light to the world. Spiritual leaders gather in Wesak Valley, a mythic place high in the Himalayas. Here initiates led by the Christ arrange themselves into a great pentagram (the Venusian emblem of world soul) while the Buddha hovers over those gathered radiating light. This cosmic alignment occurs during the eight minutes centered on the moment of the Wesak full moon."
The purpose of the Buddha's annual blessing is to activate humanity's will-to-good in service to each other and the Earth.

CELESTIAL EVENTS
The cosmos is serving up some powerful magic for us Earthlings in the coming few weeks that many astrologers are talking about. A rare Venus transit, a solar eclipse, and a Pluto-Uranus square. These all portend to the time, happening NOW, of the Shift of the Ages, and it is most helpful to have full knowledge of these happenings in order to work with, or flow with, the changes and their inherent opportunities. As always, these pivotal events are best observed in sacred ceremonies, outdoors in Nature, drumming, singing, dancing, dreaming, meditating, etc...... setting the highest intentions.
