Roger was in Tanzania and Kenya in early January on his 15th excursion to the African continent. Since he's been stateside he's been busy cutting in preparation for Gemstone Roundtables this spring. We're excited and ready for spring events and he has lots of new gems to show you.

Customers arrived at Roundtable events in 2011 ready to buy. We know there's been pent up demand since the economy went south in late 2008. While we had good events in 2009 and 2010, last year was far more encouraging. Customers came excited and ready. We had two events last year where we sold over 40 custom cut gemstones each evening! Just think of all the mountings that need to be made! Just think how well the jeweler will know their customer after spending time designing, commiserating and just plain enjoying each other's company. The customer will have something special and unique; something they LOVE!
