Our health care system continues to undergo change that impacts health care providers and the patients they serve. Political decisions are often made with the best intentions to improve the quality, efficiency and effectiveness of the system. Such decisions inevitably result in health care reforms that affect access and utilization of services.

In the interest of our profession and our members, it is important for the OCA to understand the impact of reform on our members and the services they provide.

As a result, the OCA will be conducting its annual Statistical Report survey starting on April 10. The report will automatically appear in your PMP program and will continue to appear until the end of the month.

The report information, collected through PMP, provides demographic data and practice profiles, that is used by the OCA to monitor trends within the profession. The results inform and support many of the OCA's programs and services, including our government and public relations efforts, marketing strategies and planning the association's strategic direction.
