Hello!

I've just returned from taking my daughter to her first day of grade 6 after having had one of the best summers on record with her. We did so much, we did nothing... It was perfect!

 Summer

My heart feels heavy as I write these words, because I kind of like having her around all the time.

Wouldn't life just be wonderful if she could simply hang around all day without worrying about getting her homework done, waking up at a certain time, or making sure her hair and teeth are brushed? With me not pestering her to do so??

Another word for this heavy heart I feel is contrast, as contrast in our lives can be described as anything that doesn't feel good - kids returning to school, perhaps you returning to work after vacation, the ending of a relationship, an argument with a friend.

Today's newsletter is about contrast, and why it is so essential in our lives.

Essential!!!??? Yes, read on.

 Love, Marlene

P.S. I am holding a Law of Attraction and Your Relationship Workshop in Ottawa this September. Check it out in the Workshop section below!

 Keys to Abundant Living
From Contrast to Clarity

The first step in making the Law of Attraction work for you is to be clear about what you want. The challenge in this however, is that most of us are not good at knowing what we want. We are MUCH better at identifying (and sharing) what we DON'T want!

The good news? Knowing what you don't want can help you to figure out what you DO want!

Contrast, as it applies to the Law of Attraction, is anything you don't like, doesn't feel good, or causes you to be in a negative mood. The moment you identify something in your life that feels like contrast and you spend time complaining about it, talking about it, or declaring that you don't want it, you are offering a negative vibration. The law of Attraction then responds to your negative vibe by giving you more of the same.

Is Contrast Helpful?...

Workshop - Relationships and the Law of Attraction Live in Ottawa!

3 Steps to Attracting and Maintaining
The Relationship of Your Dreams

Like Attracts Like

This is a short definition of the Law of Attraction. It is a universal law, and can be applied to anything in life - including your love life and relationships.

How can you use the Law of Attraction for relationships? How can you use it to improve your current relationship, or find the love of your life? As a Certified Law of Attraction Trainer, I  know the way to attract new romance is to love yourself the way you are wanting to be loved by another. Loving yourself creates a vibrational match for receiving love from someone else. It's a simple matter of giving yourself that which you want from another.

But what if you've already got a partner in life who isn't "being all that he can be"? Or maybe your dream-come-true partner evolved into someone completely different over time? Can law of attraction help you change someone or improve an existing relationship?

Positive Expectation
 Inspiration
The law of attraction cannot change anything in your life that you hate, because hate prevents the change from coming. Since the law is giving us exactly what we are putting out, when you hate something the law must continue to give you more of what you hate. You will not be able to move away from it. Love is the only way. If you focus completely on the things you love, then you are on your way to a beautiful life.
