The seminar focuses on analyzing rheological factors in detail, and how they help in coating formulation or coating ingredient development related to runnability, water retention and coating holdout. Makinen has taught rheology seminars since 1999 and has instructed in Finland, Sweden, Netherlands, the United Kingdom, France, Austria, Germany and China.
