"Kekoa" (Brave One) was found as a stray in Effingham County, GA.
It's suspected he was used as a "bait dog" in a dog fighting ring. His body is covered in wounds and scars, in a way that can be described as nothing less than mangled. He's now safe in the care of H.O.P.E. and they're working to give him the chance of having a better life.

PET PALS INC (WY)
This month we have a special appeal for Pet Beds for Pet Pals Inc - this amazing, family run group is so much more than just a no-kill shelter: They're an Adoption Center, Sanctuary and Hospice taking in ALL rescues, including those considered un-adoptable and they work with them, giving them the care they need, until they find them forever homes.
Pet Pals survives by donations only ... Linda York (President of Pet Pals) wrote to us asking for our help ... "Being in such a rural area where bullets are cheap and donations are far and few between, we struggle to save lives".
 This is Kujo, dumped by his family at a kill-shelter when they moved. He'd lived his entire life in an outside kennel which resulted in him having RAIN ROT! He'd most definitely been euthanized had it not been for Pet Pals Inc! Now this sweet boy has a second chance at a good life! Please donate a Pet Bed for Pet Pals - they're at their max capacity right now with 45 dogs - but they'd be happy to receive any number of Pet Beds we can send their way.
