FEATURED SHELTER / RESCUE GROUP ~
SAFE HARBOR FARM & K9 RESCUE & REHABILITATION CENTER (NC)
Lynne Swanson (DVM) of Safe Harbor Farm (take a look at the amazing photographs on their website!) tells us they owe so much of what they do best at their rescue and rehabilitation center to Cesar Millan (National Geographic's Dog Whisperer).
Here's a photo of 18+ shelter dogs at Safe Harbor, waiting quietly at the gate to be let into the play area. Lynne says it's hilarious to watch the dogs trying to out-quiet each other. Their protocol is simple, the quiet dogs get fed first; the quiet dogs get pet first; the quiet dogs get let inside first and the quiet dogs get walked first! Apparently the dogs catch on very quickly! :)
Safe Harbor Farm would love 8 Pet Beds for their K9 Rescue & Rehab Center. If you'd like to donate a pet bed to Safe Harbor Farm, please click here to donate securely online.
