Lake Expansion and Activities
There is no question that Lake Kweebec is one of the most popular places to be at camp, and in 2013 your beautiful, private lake will be even bigger! Right now, the excavators are hard at work making the back end of the lake even wider, which means more tubing, more water skiing, more sailing, and LOTS MORE FUN at CK's unmatched waterfront!
PLUS - If adding even more room to our already massive lake wasn't enough, Lake Kweebec's newest expansion comes with a brand new bridge that will make it possible for you to run, hike and even horseback ride all the way around the lake! You can also look forward to a brand new campfire site at the far side of the lake that promises to be one of the most gorgeous places in camp!
Ecology and Overnighters!
2012's zaniest addition to the CK family was withou t a doubt Foghorn Leghorn aka Cornelius, our Kweebec rooster! Well, no need to worry Kweebecers, because Cornelius and his entire troop of hens and peacocks are receiving the very best care this winter and will be ready to kick off another unforgettable season of ecological adventures when we all return home to camp next summer. In addition to your favorite animal friends, look forward to lots of stream walks, trail hikes, plant studies, animal tracking, and survival lessons as you and your bunkmates explore the pristine Kweebec wilderness in 2013!
BUT THAT'S NOT ALL, because 2013 will be another summer under the stars as you and your bunkmates head across Lake Kweebec and settle in for a night of fun, songs, and S'MORES at our beautiful Camp Kweebec overnight site!
2013 CK Shows!
The Kweebec Drama program soared to new heights last summer, hitting all the right notes and bringing everyone to their feet with spectacular performances of The Lion King, Grease and The Wizard of Oz! From our fantastic Drama staff, to our very own camper directors, to the stars of each show, the campitheater truly came alive, and put so many of you, our talented Kweebec campers and counselors, center stage for some truly unforgettable evenings of music and theater.
But if you thought 2012 was a  great year of Performing Arts at Kweebec, just wait until you see what we have in store for 2013! From our talent shows, to our open-mic nights, to exciting plays, musicals and dance and vocal ensembles, all of you future superstars out there will have lots of opportunities to hone your skills with experienced professional staff, and then step into the spotlight as your entire Kweebec family cheers you on! Look for more exciting news to come, but trust us when we say that this summer's performing arts program will be unlike anything that you have ever een before!
BREAKING NEWS!!!!!!
The pre-construction blue prints for our BRAND NEW PERFORMANCE and ARTS CENTER have arrived, and it is COOLER THAN ANYTHING WE COULD HAVE IMAGINED! The picture below gives a sneak peak at what your brand new, state-of-the-art performance center will look like, but since it is an architect's drawing (and not many of us are architects) here is everything that you need to know:
- The new Kweebec Performance and Art Center will be located right next to our dance studio, just a few steps from the mansion house porch!
- The new Kweebec Performance and Art Center will include not just one, but TWO new buildings, with lots of rehearsal and art studio space!
- Right below these TWO new AWESOME buildings will be HUGE rows of COVERED stadium style seating and steps leading to our BRAND NEW STAGE!
- AND NOW FOR THE COOLEST PART... Our new professional Kweebec stage area will actually be elevated above the edge of the old lake, with amazing views of both lakes!!!

2013 Leagues!
It's no secret that when it comes to athletics, there is truly no other camp in the world that compares to Kweebec, and last summer set the bar even higher!  With our multi-league program, and unmatched professional instruction in sports like Basketball, Soccer, Baseball, Softball, Hockey, Lacrosse, Tennis, Golf, Football and Field Hockey, no matter what your age or ability level you can be sure to step up your game in 2013. Look for lots of familiar faces to be back at Kweebec this summer, and get ready to have lots of fun as we build toward another year of awesome sports action!
ATVs
The Kweebec ATV program got off to a great start last summer as our senior campers got their first lessons in ATV safety and riding, but in 2013 our ATVs will be in full force, allowing any interested Senior to learn the fundamentals of off-road riding on our brand new four wheelers. With a permanent track for ATV riding and instruction that, if you choose will give you a chance to earn your CK ATV driving license, the 2013 ATV program at Kweebec is a great way to learn all about these state of the art vehicles, and have lots of fun driving them, all while under the direct supervision of skilled professional teachers on our very own closed track.
Horseback Riding
 There is nothing like strapping on your helmet and saddling up for a thrilling afternoon ride on one of Kweebec's well trained horses, and since our new stables worked out so well in 2012, all of you riders out there can expect to see our horseback riding program greatly expanded for 2013! With our new, second lake bridge opening up a whole new side of camp, Kweebecer's of every skill level will have the chance to experience the fun of trail riding with our fantastic horseback instructors. The best part, with all of the trails and areas now accessible on the other side of Lake Kweebec, no two rides will ever have to be the same!
