Have you noticed our new look? We recently implemented Constant Contact at the Chamber office for many of our communication pieces with our members and friends. Through this medium we'll be able to detail and track our marketing campaigns to give our viewers exactly what they are looking for from the chamber. Thank you so much for being a loyal partner with the chamber. If you like what you see, please let us know. Enjoy!

2011 A Year of Giving Back

As we close out the year, I want take a few moments say thank you to everyone who has made this a great year for the Chamber of Commerce and EDA. We have done some amazing things this year and I look forward to everything we have in store for 2011. Coming up, we will continue our Business Seminar series, offering valuable advice and learning opportunities on topics selected by our membership. We will continue to host new and expanding businesses with ribbon cuttings, business after hours and grand openings. These are great events where members can interact with one another and get in front of an audience that they might not normally see. If hosting one of these events is something you would like to be a part of, please let me know. There are several ways to be involved with what our chamber is providing its members and the community. Our Chamber Ambassadors program is growing. We are always looking for new members to emcee events in the community and be involved. Volunteering with the chamber not only benefits our organization, it gets you and your business recognized in front of the community. Being seen (and heard) is great advertising that you can't put a price tag on. , I encourage you, as you look at your goals for 2011 make a concerted effort that 2011 is going to be a year of volunteering and giving back to the community. Being a part of an organization of peers and business leaders is a great way to advance your business. We want to be that avenue to help you accomplish your goals.  Together we can all make Jones County a truly great place to live and work!

If you can, give back and let's show those less fortunate in our community that we care.
