Greetings, friends!
It seems fitting that in March (National Craft Month) there are not 1, but 2, fabulous trade shows for us to attend! Marilynn went to a show a couple of weeks ago and discovered NEW Tombo Colored Pencils and had lots of fun with Tsukineko and Stampendous products, too! Be on the lookout for new classes and demos from her so she can share what she learned. Laura and I leave today for Boston to attend another show. We'll be posting pictures and updates on our blog and on Facebook all weekend, so be sure to visit us often and comment on our posts. We'll be choosing 1 comment randomly from both our blog and FB page on both Friday & Saturday (4 winners total) to win some fun stamping goodies! And, don't worry, we'll be seriously shopping so we can bring the new goodies back to you! Fondly, Angela |

Magenta Trunk Show

We are so excited that Nathalie Metivier from Magenta will be here next week conducting a series of workshops! Her classes are completely full (we are taking a waiting list) but you can still stop by! Nathalie is bringing a trunk show with her on Thursday, March 29, so you can shop to your heart's content! Plus, she has two fabulous technique books, and she loves to sign them for you! You can catch her in the afternoon between classes, if you'd like your books dedicated! |

New Guest Artist Added to the Schedule!

The fun times just continue this spring! Cheryl Boglioli, a Certified Tattered Angels educator, will be joining us (all the way from Florida) on Tuesday, April 3 for a couple of workshops featuring the fabulous Tattered Angels collection of products. Tuesday morning, she'll be leading the Laurel Sampler workshop (photo above) and Tuesday evening, she'll be teaching the technique-driven Tattered, Torn and Frayed workshop (pictured below). Do not miss this opportunity to get messy, have fun and learn a lot! We will have all of the Tattered Angels products available to support these classes, too! Wahoo!

What's New? Have you been keeping up with our blog and FB posts this month? I've been posting photos of some of the new product that's been arriving in the shop in the past few weeks. I'm particularly excited about the individual baker's twine spools and Trendy Tape. But the new flower assortment (and display rack) from Petaloo is also pretty spectacular. Not to be outdone, the Penny Black Spring Sample board just arrived yesterday, and it is breathtaking. Featuring all new stamps for spring, we have everything to recreate these stunning projects (including the paper)! Stop in and see them in person to fully appreciate all the detail in these cards. Awesome! |

Teasers!
I appreciate all of your comments and suggestions regarding my emails. Someone told me recently that she missed my more personal musings (that I've left out since I switched to this format where I can include photos). So, Angie, this is just for you! I was recently asked to sing on a Gospel CD Fundraiser project for the Wounded Warriors project. My recording session was yesterday, and it was a BLAST! The CDs should be available sometime in mid-April, so after I've heard it (I want to make sure I don't embarrass myself), I will make them available in the shop. 100% of the proceeds will go to the Wounded Warriors project. More to come....
Also, did you know that the Space Shuttle Discovery is going to be making its home at the Air & Space Museum at Dulles? They are going to be flying the shuttle in on April 17. We are going to do something fun in conjunction with that historic event! Again, stay tuned for all the details - but put the date on your calendar! |
