Zana Clark Workshops!

I travel quite a bit to teach classes for Memory Box, and one thing I hear regularly is how lucky our shop is that we get to host such talented guest artists! I agree! This weekend, October 15 & 16, we are hosting Zana Clark, owner and designer of Stamp Zia and watercolorist extraordinaire! Her techniques are so very different from anything we've ever offered before. Start with her signature Color Wash Jewels and see what fabulous works of art you can create! Her Color Drenched Dream class is completely full, but we do have a couple of openings in her other workshops. Don't miss this opportunity to learn something completely new and different. And, you can bring your own water-based markers, so your artwork will be completely customized to your favorite color palette! |
Fight Like a Girl!
October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, and we are doing our part. Signify Pink has a wonderful collection of products in their signature Fight Like a Girl theme, and a portion of the proceeds goes toward breast cancer research. We also have waterproof, self-exam placards and other literature, if you need to update anything. I had to have one of the water bottle cozies. It's soooo cute! Come take a look! |
Designer for Hero Arts!
We also welcome Hero Arts Designer Shari Carroll to our fall lineup! Shari will be here with a series of workshop on November 12 & 13. Shari has been with Hero Arts for 22 years and is the Lead Hero Blogger and is responsible for the monthly technique articles on Heroarts.com. If you don't know her by name, you will surely recognize her stamping style! We expect these classes to fill quickly, so don't wait to register for either the Hero Holiday (offered on both Saturday and Sunday morning) or Technique Treasury (also offered both Saturday and Sunday afternoon) workshops. |
Kid's Class
Fairfax County doesn't have school on Tuesday, November 8, so why not bring your children here for a little fun time? We'll be creating a Pet Minibook for their favorite pictures and memories of their pet. Class space is extremely limited, so reserve a space for your child today. This class is open to children ages 1-6 grade, but if you'd like to bring a younger child, you may stay and help them complete the project. See you there!
