for the Gourmet in all of us

Greetings!

Welcome to All Fools' Day and an early Happy Easter to you! April Fools' Day

We have Remedies and Recipes for you, all using our fabulous Culinary Oils. And
while the recipes are real and wonderful, the remedies, well, they might not all be true. Think you can tell which are real and which are fake?
Remedies ... or not?

Here are some rather unusual uses for our Extravagonzo Culinary Oils. Think you can spot the phony ones? We have the reveal on our Facebook Page so make sure you don't try any of these until you see which are actually true.

Relieve Ear Aches
Ear Ache RemedyTake warm Roasted Garlic Oil and with an eye dropper, drop 1-2 drops down into the ear canal. After a few minutes, drain the oil from your ear. The Garlic Oil helps dry out any moisture and loosens the built up ear wax so that it is easier to remove. But remember to not put anything into your ear canal!

Lubricant for Hinges
Old Rusty HingeAny of the Oils will work for this so you get to pick which flavor. Use a spray bottle or cotton pad to apply.

Protect Your Garden from Snails and Slugs
Garden SlugUse the Roasted Garlic as a line of defense against the slimy critters and they will not enter your garden. If they had the misfortune to be in the garden when you set up the barrier, they will dry up and die.

Furniture Polish
Polishing FurnitureUse the Meyer Lemon as furniture polish. Just like Lemon Pledge, but better.

Stainless Steel Polish
Shiny ForksAny flavor with work for this remedy. Use just a little Oil on a clean, soft cloth and buff your steel and brass surfaces in a circular motion to bring them back to their original brilliant shine.

Rust and Tarnish Prevention
Tarnished SpoonsThe Red Chili Oil can be used on metal surfaces to keep them from rusting. The capsaicin in the chili peppers keeps the rust from forming.

Moisturizer
Soothing Dry SkinOlive Oil is a wonderful moisturizer that also softens your skin. Use the Meyer Lemon or Blood Orange for a refreshing citrus aroma. You can even use it on your hair. And in your bath water.

Soothe a Sore or Scratchy Throat
Woman CoughingSwallow a tablespoon of the Roasted Garlic, Meyer Lemon, or Blood Orange Oils and feel the relief in your scratchy throat. Do this just before a presentation and you won't need to cough or clear your throat as often.
