You are invited to attend this meeting to discuss problems at this intersection, develop proposals to make streets safe for pedestrians and drivers, and plan campaign to invite city officials to help us solve these problems. Communication for Pedestrian Safety: Risk, Response and Change 

Free Training workshop

Training participants will learn the skills, tools and templates necessary for planning and implementing a comprehensive pedestrian safety strategy. Attendees will be able to:

 

  • Develop tailored pedestrian safety messages
  • Establish and/or strengthen community partnerships
  • Understand and implement risk communication activities
  • Respond effectively to pedestrian related collisions
  • Implement the "It's Up to All of Us" public education campaign

Many of us necessarily are focused on our immediate towns and neighborhoods, regarding pedestrian safety & walkability.  It helps to occasionally pay attention to what is being considered by our state legislators .
