With the aftermath of Hurricane Isaac on everyone's mind, response and recovery work in these impacted areas presents some safety and health issues. All employers are responsible for their employees' safety when responding to natural disaster such as hurricanes, earthquakes, and tornadoes. This brings about the question, "Is your company prepared?"

Haftu Tafere joins our IT Department as EWN's Application Developer.
Haftu was born in Chercher, Tigray, Ethiopia. In 2007 he finished his first degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Mekelle Institute of Technology. After earning his degree, he worked for two years as a software developer.
Haftu moved to the United States in August 2009 to further his education. In May of 2011 he received his Master Of Science in Computer Science degree from North Carolina Central University (NCCU) in Durham, NC. He recently joined EWN as our IT Application Developer.
Haftu is married and his wife, also from Ethiopia, is a student. He hasn't had much time from work and school to enjoy much of America, but he has found he really likes Middle Eastern cuisine.

His company, Burnham Exploration, is partnered with Union Oil Company of California. ♦♦♦♦ September 9, 1928 Oklahoma governs Oil Production For the first time, a state regulatory body issues a proration order that governs oil production for an entire state.
