Making A Difference - Atmos Energy's Charles K. Vaughan Center
Atmos Training Center

The Charles K. Vaughan Center was created by Atmos Energy with the purpose of making a difference in the natural gas industry.

The 48,600 square foot facility houses the dispatch and customer service operations for the North Dallas area and a state of the art training center. The center offers both classroom training and hands-on technical training using mock-ups of home, apartment and commercial buildings at an outdoor training area known as Gas City.

Atmos Energy build this facility to better serve their customers and to ensure safe and reliable service by offering training and education about natural gas to their employees, emergency responders, community officials and even school children.

The center is named in honor of Atmos Energy's founding chairman, Charles K. Vaughan, who led the company from 1983 to 1997. Vaughan continues to serve on the company's board of directors as lead director and as chairman of the board's executive committee.

ENERGY worldnet, Inc. had the honor of touring the Charles K. Vaughan Center in 2011 and we applaud them for making a difference not only in the natural gas industry but also in the community.

Sincerely,

ENERGY worldnet, Inc.
