What is an LMS and LCMS anyway?
Overall, a LMS (Learning Management System) is a high-level, strategic solution for planning, delivering, and managing all learning events within an organization, including online, virtual classroom and instructor-led courses. It is the perfect solution for replacing isolated and fragmented learning programs with a methodical means of assessing and raising competency and performance levels throughout the organization, and ensuring compliance with regulatory training and evaluation requirements.
A LCMS (Learning Content Management System) takes the LMS solution a step further and is a system that creates, stores, assembles and delivers personalized e-learning content. Though an LMS manages and administers all forms of learning within an organization, a great LCMS does that and also incorporates the ability to easily develop and manage learning content.
ENERGY worldnet, Inc. (EWN) is a full service provider of Learning and Content Management Systems (LCMS). Our new Toll Free numbers says it all. Call
1-855-EWN-LCMS for all of your training, record management and compliance needs. |

Pipeline Safety: Establishing Maximum Allowable Operating Pressure or Maximum Operating Pressure Using Record Evidence, and Integrity Management Risk Identification, Assessment, Prevention, and Mitigation:
PHMSA issued an Advisory Bulletin on Jan. 4, 2011 to remind operators of gas and hazardous liquid pipeline facilities of their responsibilities, under Federal integrity management (IM) regulations, to perform detailed threat and risk analyses that integrate accurate data and information from their entire pipeline system, especially when calculating Maximum Allowable Operating Pressure (MAOP) or Maximum Operating Pressure (MOP), and to utilize these risk analyses in the identification of appropriate assessment methods, and preventative and mitigative measures. For more information Click Here.
Pipeline Safety: Dangers of Abnormal Snow and Ice Build-Up on Gas Distribution Systems:
This advisory bulletin issued on Feb. 9, 2011 advises owners and operators of petroleum gas and natural gas facilities of the need to take the appropriate steps to prevent damage to pipeline facilities from accumulated snow or ice. Past events on natural gas distribution system facilities appear to have been related to either the stress of snow and ice or the malfunction of pressure control equipment due to ice blockage of pressure control equipment vents. This advisory reminds owners and operators of the need to take precautionary actions to prevent adverse events. For more information Click Here. |
