Happy Labor Day!

As summer comes to an end, the kids have gone back to school and the Labor Day Holiday offers a last weekend break from our labors before fall and winter set in.  But just what does Labor Day mean to you?  Is it a rest from your labors or a celebration of work?  For me, Labor Day is a celebration of what work means, what work accomplishes, how work builds and maintains families, and serves our communities.

As I reflect on all that we have accomplished together, I want to say "Thank you" to all of our clients, our family of operators and contractors, for the opportunity to labor along side of you as you serve our communities, our families and our industry.

Have a safe and happy holiday!

Best Regards,

Geoff Isbell
Vice President of Operations
OQ Dashboard

The new OQ Dashboard has been fully operational for the last 60 days.  If you are not yet familiar with the OQ Dashboard, here are some key features you should be aware of:
  • One-click access from the Home/Welcome Page.
  • Permission based access can be granted to any employee by Administrators with OQ Dashboard permission.
  • The OQ Dashboard Report is updated daily.
  • Evaluation Expiration notifications are sent out once a week on each Monday morning (see additional information in this newsletter).
  • Expiring Evaluations can be filtered by Employee Name,  Supervisor Name, full or partial Evaluation Name or Number, related Task, or specific expiration time period within the 90 day report window.
  • Assigned Supervisors and related Tasks can be viewed in a pop-up box by moving the computer mouse over the desired numeric indicator.
  • One-click links to system Task Status and Evaluation Status Reports.
  • Full and filtered reports can be printed.
New Evaluation Expiration Notification Process

ENERGY worldnet has implemented a new Evaluation Expiration Notification process to make it easier to manage evaluation expiration reminders.

Weekly Evaluation Expiration Notifications are emailed to designated recipients on Monday morning of each week with a summary of all of the evaluations scheduled to expire in the following periods:
  • Expired in the  last 30 days
  • Expiring in 0 to 30 days
  • Expiring in 31 to 60 days
  • Expiring in 61 to 90 days
Administrators can receive an email with expiration reminders for all company employees.  Supervisors can receive an email with expiration reminders for all employees for whom they are designated as a supervisor for, and employees can receive an expiration reminder with their own individual requirements. All details from the summary email notifications may be viewed, filtered and printed from the OQ Dashboard page by individuals with appropriate permissions.

If someone is not receiving their expected email notifications, here are a few troubleshooting tips:
  • Have you activated the Evaluation Expiration Notification feature in the Admin section of the PRO II System?
  • Are the appropriate emails addresses for the company, administrators, supervisors and employees entered and accurate?
  • Are administrators and supervisors designated in their correct capacity on their User Profile Page?
  • Are the emails in your junk or spam folder?  Please ensure that all emails from energyworldnet.com are added to your Safe Sender list.
If you need assistance or have any questions regarding the OQ Dashboard or the Evaluation Expiration Notification process, please call us at 940-626-1941 or email support@energyworldnet.com

Mayra Lujan joined the ENERGY worldnet team over a year ago as a Marketing and Training Specialist.  In addition to assisting customers with OQ support, Mayra specializes in the planning and development of new training courses and evaluations by working with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in the industry.  She is also responsible for the creation of marketing and communication information, such as this newsletter.

Mrs. Lujan's professional background includes work in the area of safety and OSHA compliance for several major upstream/production service companies operating in the Barnett Shale.  Mayra is bilingual and is a gifted artist and photographer.   Mayra utlizes her skills as a photographer and in multimedia technologies to update and create EWN training courses.  She has expressed a personal goal  of "creating the best training courses in the industry" and she hopes to work with more of our clients on that purpose.  She will also be instrumental in the development of the next generation of course players, CBTs and interactive media for EWN.

In her free time, which she laughs is becoming increasingly scarce, Mayra enjoys spending time with her husband and four girls, worshipping at church, and taking photographs.  Mayra is also a die-hard OU Sooner football fan...but we Texans love her anyway!

Request for SMEs for
Training & Evaluations

ENERGY worldnet's Computer Based Training Courses (CBTs) are a critical aspect of an effective OQ Program. These courses are the heart of our business as through them Operators and Contractors are able to train and qualify their employees to perform their required tasks.  As new laws and regulations are implemented and our industry changes, so do training requirements.  Accordingly, we rely heavily on Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in the industry as a source of technical information.

If you would like to contribute your expertise as a SME, or assist in providing data,  images, or feedback regarding any of our existing  courses or if you are interested in participating in the development of any new courses and evaluations, please contact Mayra Lujan at (940) 626-1941 or via email at mayra.lujan@energyworldnet.com.

Tech Tip: View Task List

Operators have the ability to view their own internal task list through View Task List, Task Assignment, or in the Admin section by running a Company Task List Report.

Contractors have the ability to view multiple task lists depending on how many Operators they work for. To view your Operator's Task List follow these step:
  1. From your Home/Welcome page click on Contractor
  2. Next click on Task Assignment
  3. Use the Select an Operator filter to choose which Operator's Task List you would like to view.
  4. Once you select the Operator, click on the hyperlink View Task List which is located to the far right of the Select Employees To Assign Task section.
  5. You may now review your Operator's Task List or print it off using your browser's print option .
