Source Point Training Awarded CCE Units by ICF
|  Healdsburg, CA--Source Point Training has been awarded approval for continuing coach education (CCE) units by the International Coach Federation (ICF) for several of their training programs. The ICF is the only organization that awards a global credential which is currently held by 6,000 coaches worldwide.
Source Point Training, founded in late 2009, just completed their inaugural Certified Relationship Coach Training (CRC) held in Tempe, Arizona, last weekend. "We are thrilled that the ICF has recognized that our training meets their stringent educational standards for coach training. As a result of that, the coaches that just completed CRC have earned 56.5 CCE units," says Lou Dozier, co-founder of Source Point Training and lead facilitator for CRC.
"In addition to the Certified Relationship Coach Training, our Fundamentals of Performance Coaching and Mastery of Performance Coaching trainings have also been awarded approval," adds Barbara Fagan, who co-founded Source Point Training with Lou Dozier. "Coaches that complete Fundamentals of Performance Coaching training will receive 84.5 CCE units, and those that complete Mastery of Performance Coaching will receive an additional 56.5 CCE units. I am very proud of these programs which are part of our coach training division, The Source Institute, led by Tommy Ruff, Director of The Source Institute."
Source Point Training also offers personal development training including Leadership Source and Living Life as Source, both considered high-impact and experiential learning programs. "Leadership Source debuted in Sacramento in April 2010, and is already filling up for our Atlanta venue. With that said, we are additionally honored that ICF has approved Leadership Source for 60 hours of CCE Units," continues Fagan. "Overall, Source Point Training has been recognized by the International Coach Federation for 197.5 total hours of CCE units toward required coaching core competency development. That makes us one of the top resources for ICF-approved coach training programs."
In addition to leadership and coach training, Source Point Training has recognized the need to provide business training also. "Many coach training programs just focus on coaching skills, and then certify students without the needed training to run a business. That's why we include over ten hours of ICF-approved business development training in our curriculum. We also offer Accelerate Your Business Now, a comprehensive, two-day learning lab and workshop. This business training will help individuals get pass the fear and overwhelm of running a business so they can meet the market place with confidence knowing they have a step-by-step plan for success," says Fagan. "Lou and I have been in the business of training coaches and leaders for over thirty years, so we are confident about our offerings, and very honored that the International Coach Federation have approved our trainings."
