Bible Character Night -- Oct 28
All clubber may attend club dressed as their favorite bible character or figure. All participants will receive an additional $10 Awana dollars.
 
WHAT TO BRING: Each team color should bring the following
Red/Blue - Individually wrapped candy for a goody bag
Green - Large bag chips or pretzels
Yellow - Juice boxes

Welcome to the new and improved AWANA Know. You can expect to receive this on weekly basis. This newsletter will be used to pass along valuable information concerning your childs club involvement. 
 
Grand Prix Race - 7 Nov
Grand Prix LogoThis years Grand Prix is scheduled for Nov 7th, starting at 11:00 AM. Cars  will be available starting next week for the low price of 100 Awana dollars or $5.00 real dollars. Due to the new precut cars, there will only be one workshop available. It's scheduled for Saturday the 31st at 9:00 AM in the gym.

This years goal for Awana clubbers is to collect 300 shoeboxes.
Determine whether your gift will be for a boy or girl and their age category (2-4, 5-9, or 10-14). Labels are available to identify whether the box is for a boy or girl and their age.
Fill your shoebox with a variety of gifts:
Toys: Small cars, balls, dolls, stuffed animals, platic kazoos, harmonicas, yo-yo's, toys that light up or make noise (include extra battteries) or slinkies, etc.
School Supplies:pens, pencils and sharpeners, crayons or markers, stamps or inkpad sets, coloring books, pads or paper, solar calculators, etc.
Hygiene Items: toothbrush, toothpaste, soap in plastic bag, comb, wash cloth, etc.
Other: hard candy in plastic bag, lollipops, mints, gum, sunglasses, flashlights and extra batteries, ball caps, socks, t-shirts, toy jewelry sets, hair-clips, watches, small picture books, etc.
DO NOT INCLUDE: used items, toy guns, knives or other war related items, chocolate or other preishanle items, liquids of any kind, medicines of any kind or breakable items.
 
Clubbers should bring their filled shoeboxes plus $7 to cover the shipping into the gym each week and drop them on table in center of gym.  ALL CHECKS SHOULD BE MADE OUT TO SAMARITAN'S PURSE
 
 
Heart to Hand
Don't forget to bring in NEW socks to be given to the homeless shelters
Can be any size or color for Man/Woman/Boy/Girl/Young or Toddler
November will be nonperishable food collected for Koinonia
