Enjoy these photos from this fun weekend! The weather was perfect and the wind clocked from 0 knots to 20 knots. It was such a joy to see seasoned racers and "First Time Racer/ Cruisers" sailing together and making new friends! Thank you to San Diego Yacht Club for the catering and professional Race Committee and a VERY SPECIAL thanks to all you Beneteau Owners who made this event possible! Word is out on the water that it was the sailing event of the season.

The new Sense range appeared a year ago, initially with the introduction of a the 50', then this year a 43 footer. BENETEAU now want you to discover a new Sense, a 55' yacht, at the Paris boat show in December.

Movie Nights at Sunroad Marina - by South Coast Yachts

Sunroad Marina has installed a 60" Flat Screen TV in the Pavillion by the pool, so we thought it would be fun to have a movie night once a month. We'll start with Captain Ron, of course, come join us on Friday the 4th of November at 7pm at the Sunroad Marina Pavillion.

Yvonne's October recipe - by Glenn Winder
| |
Skillet Round Steak - Serves 4
1/4 cup flour
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon salt
Put above ingredients in a small storage zip lock bag
1 lb Cube Steak
2 tablespoons of butter
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/1/2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
1 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce
1/1/2 instant beef bouillon granules
3 tablespoons of butter
1/4 Brandy
1/2 cup Water
1 onion, thinly sliced
Dredge steak cubes in the pre-packaged flour mix
In a large skillet melt the butter over medium heat, brown the meat on all sides. Remove from skillet.
In a cup, combine the Worcestershire sauce and the mustard. Mix well, spread sauce on steak cubes and set aside.
Add remaining ingredients to skillet and bring to a boil, stir mixture to dissolve bullion granules, return steak cubes to skillet, reduce heat. Cover and simmer about 30 minutes.
