Our kids have had a wonderful summer at Wesley House! They have visited the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame, learned to play golf, been bowling, had a cookout, went to Vacation Bible School, helped deliver food boxes to the needy, took home made cookies to our local fire department, and slept with the sharks at Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies. (note the "I survived" reference is most appropriate for our staff).

We have had a joyful summer, filled with blessings of volunteer hands, prayers, and the kindness of strangers. And love. And grace. And more love.

We eat breakfast and lunch together five days a week with our kids. We have watched their lives change forever as they learn new skills, master a (seemingly) overwhelming challenge like swimming, learn about God's love, and discover that there is a place where they are loved and accepted always. No matter what, Wesley House is the consistency in their lives.
