Christmas Time's A'Coming!
The holidays are just around the corner - it's hard to believe! We're counting our blessings here at Wesley House, and we hope and pray that you have felt the many blessings in your life this year that God has shared with you.
Christmas is about so much more than gifts, but gift-giving has become one way of expressing our love and appreciation for one another. If you are searching for a unique gift, we have two suggestions for you:
A gift to Wesley House - perfect for the person who "has everything" but you want them to know you are thinking of them. Make a gift in that special person's name and we'll send them a note, letting them know you made a gift in their honor (we do not specify the amount). All gifts will help to ensure the work of changing the way inner-city children grow up in Knoxville continues. You can mail your gift to us at 923 Dameron Avenue, Knoxville, TN 37921 or click here

The Wesley House Cookbook
It's a bargain - over 125 pages of
recipes for only $10. Wrap it up with a homemade goodie from the pages and it's a perfect gift. Call us at 524-5494 or drop by to purchase.

Thanksgiving Bounty
Thanks to the loving kindness of Cokesbury United Methodist Church, 135 Thanksgiving boxes were delivered to friends of the Wesley House. Each box contained a turkey, milk, eggs, butter, and all the trimmings needed to make a wonderful meal! Families and seniors in our community enjoyed a wonderful holiday, thanks to the blessings of Cokesbury Church. For more photos of this special day, click here. |
Christmas for our kids
Thank you so very much to everyone and every group who has adopted our kids for Christmas - the presents you provide may, in some cases, be the only presents our kids receive.
We also need a group to provide a shopping experience for our kids - something so that they may have a present to give to their parents. If you or your group are interested in doing so, please get in touch with us at 865-524-5494. We can set up a "store" in one of our rooms here and have our kids choose an item for their parents and then help them gift wrap it. |
