Thank you!
We've had so many good things going on at Wesley House, thanks to many of our donors. Our annual Friends and Donors Breakfast was a great success, bringing over $26,000 to help with our work with kids. Thanks to a grant from the Thompson Family Foundation, we've recently remodeled our boys and girls bathrooms (which get a lot of daily use!) as well as refinished the floor in our Big Room. The Big Room is the central gathering place for everyone in the afternoons and is where homework is tackled. Our facility and programs are in better shape thanks to so many of you - Wesley House is blessed by you. |
Get Involved - Help us out!
There are some great opportunities right now to get involved with the work of Wesley House:
Volunteer: Every child who comes here in the afternoons has homework. They need someone to work with them, one-on-one, to complete their assignments. This is the best way to ensure academic success for our kids.
You can make a financial gift anytime by mailing your check to Wesley House, 923 Dameron Avenue, Knoxville, TN 37921 or by clicking the link below.
Donate Now to Wesley House
Support Wesley House while enjoying some family time at Chuck E Cheese on Thursday, September 9. Chuck E Cheese will donate 15% of all purchases that evening ( 3 PM - 9 PM) to Wesley House. Our kids will be there that afternoon - about 4 PM - so stop by and visit us! Be sure to mention Wesley House during your visit for your purchases to be credited to Wesley House.

Is it time to eat?
We provide fellowship, lunch, and fun to some of our community's seniors on Fridays during the school year. We need a group to provide lunch on Friday, December 17, to 25 ladies here at the Wesley House.
We also need lunches provided to the kids during fall break; we have Friday, October 15 covered, but still need a group for Thursday, October 14. Since school is out, they will be with us all day on those days and we need to make sure they have a nutritious lunch.
Please contact Sharon at 524-5494 if you can help. |
