Tablescapes 2010

What a spectacular event! Tablescapes 2010, held May 8, was a sold out event. More than 250 people gathered for wonderful food, beautiful tables, bargains at the silent auction, and some outstanding entertainment from some of the kids and seniors from the Wesley House.  Thank you to Mercy Health Partners, our presenting sponsor, for their support again this year. If you missed this year's event, make plans now to be with us for Tablescapes 2011!

Volunteer and Wesley House ChildSchool's almost out!
We've had another great school year at Wesley House; a record number of our kids have made honor roll this year  and we've had a fun time learning.  80% of our children made Honor Roll and of those, 56% made First Honors (all A's). We are proud of their hard work! As we approach the end of the school year, our work shifts into a new gear: our summer program includes continued academic work  and fun activities for all the kids.  Thank you to so many of you who volunteered throughout the school year to help our kids succeed.

 Wesley House Cookbooks
The Wesley House Cookbooks are here!  Thanks for recipes from friends and supporters, we have an incredible cookbook.  We've even had several purchased as wedding gifts for some of those summer brides...not a bad idea.  At only $10 each, they are a bargain and guaranteed to broaden your cooking horizons.  Call  (524-5494) or come by to purchase.
basketballSummer Program Needs Your Help!
Wesley House provides a summer enrichment program for the kids in our community and we need your help.  We provide breakfast and lunch daily, Monday - Friday, and we are looking for help with lunches in July and breakfasts during June and July.  Breakfast can be cereal and fruit - nothing fancy - but enough to get the children off to a good start for the day. If you can help, please contact Sharon at 865-524-5494.
