Attention Procrastinators!
This is the last week of Lenski Annual Giving: The One Minute Fundraiser. Our goal is $60,000 by October 1. We are almost there! If you have already donated, THANK YOU! Family Bingo Night
Friday, September 28th, 2012, 5:30-8:30 p.m.
Family Bingo Night, a Lenski tradition! This is a fun-filled evening for students and their families. We will play Bingo, Draw for Raffle Prizes, Eat Pizza and much more... The money earned goes back to Lenski to help benefit the students. For more information and to download a copy of the order form, please click here.
Raffle tickets are on sale through September 28th. Prize drawings will be held at Bingo Night on September 28th and YOU DO NOT NEED TO BE PRESENT TO WIN! Check out the fabulous raffle prizes on the raffle order form (they are also on display in the school lobby). To purchase tickets, download the form & send it to school with a check by Friday, September 28th. The form can be returned in your child's folder, or directly to the office. Tickets may also be purchased at the Raffle Table on Bingo Night. Best of luck, and thank you for supporting Lenski!

Please join us for an open forum with Scott Murphy, Littleton Public Schools Superintendent. Get the Scoop on What's Going on in LPS....
What is the outlook for the fiscal stability of LPS? How do Lenski's test scores compare? How is LPS adapting to the changing state standards? What can Lenski parents expect from the middle school experience? What legislative changes are on the horizon? Come hear the answers to these questions and any others that are on your mind.
Scott Murphy has been superintendent of Littleton Public Schools since 2006 and has a long and impressive history in education.

Vision & Hearing Volunteer Sign-Up
October 5, 8-12
We are currently in need of volunteers for the Vision and Hearing Screening at Lois Lenski. To volunteer, click on Mysignup to chaperone kids to and from the Vision and Hearing Screening Bus. Feel free to sign up for more than one time slot.
We need help for 6 days; Friday Oct. 5th, Monday Oct. 8-12th. We will also need back up volunteers.
You will escort small groups of kids to and from their class rooms, to the Vision and Hearing bus at the front of the school. The Vision and Hearing specialists will give you a list of classrooms and kids, and will tell you how many kids they want you to bring each time. You will walk the groups to and from the bus outside.

It's time to register for the LPS Foundation's annual 5K and 10K Run/Walk and Kids Fun Run on Sunday, October 28, 2012. Early Bird Special for ONLINE REGISTRATIONS ONLY has been EXTENDED! For a limited time you can register at last year's prices. Now through September 27th, register online and save $5 on each registration (Kids Fun Run excluded). Be sure to put Lenski in as your LPS school!

Lenski Running Club - Back by Popular
Demand
Nearly 500 students joined Lenski's Running Club in 2011, improving fitness and earning prizes for every mile completed! Run with us again in 2012!
Sprint on over to the field during full-day Friday lunch recesses in September and October (9/7, 9/14, 9/28, 10/5, 10/12 & 10/26). Lenski Running Club membership is open to all Lenski students - no signup or experience necessary. Last year's members can add to their prize collection or start anew. All we require is a good attitude and an aptitude for fun!
Parent participation is welcomed, and volunteer positions are still available at My Sign Up.
