Donating School Supplies for Preschoolers at The Village

The 5th graders are organizing an optional collection of leftover Lenski school supplies which will be donated to The Village Preschool, which is part of Littleton Public Schools. Ninety percent of the Village students are part of a tuition assistance program. Any donated supplies will directly help these preschoolers. Boxes for supply collection are available in or outside of every classroom and in front of the office. The last day to collect supplies is Thursday, May 17 at noon.

Arapahoe High School Science Camp

The 2012 Arapahoe Science Camp is now accepting registrations. This camp will run July 24-26 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Please note that this year's camp will offer different activities centered on new themes! The registration form can be found on the Science Department web page at http://lps2.it/science. There will be limited spots. so sign up soon!

Arapahoe High School Youth Football Camp

Arapahoe High School Football will be offering a youth camp from June 25-28 for ages 7-14. For more information about this camp, please click here.

Youth College at ACC

Arapahoe Community College is offering classes this summer for elementary, middle and high school aged students. These classes will focus in areas of science, technology, engineering and math. To learn more about these offerings, please click here.

Library News

Mrs. Fischer and the library staff want to thank those families and students who donated Leapsters and Leapster cartridges (most recently Brooke and Max T.) throughout the school year, and remind everyone that if your child outgrows his/her Leapster and cartridges, please consider donating them to the Lenski library. The Kindergarten students in Mrs. Fischer's reading program use them all year long to advance their learning!

Thanks so much - have a wonderful summer and thanks for your great work (I mean volunteer time) on behalf of Lenski!

The Streets at SouthGlenn - Street Smarts Program

Thank you to each and every one of you that enrolled your e-mail address with Streets of SouthGlenn and/or turned in receipts for points. The program has come to a close for this year, we will find out what place we finished on May 17th. Lenski is planning on participating again next year, look for information when school begins.
