Shop the Streets of SouthGlenn
Lenski has moved into 8th place as of December 31! This means we are earning more money for our school - right now we are set to receive $500, but we have the opportunity to earn up to $2,500 with your help. To help, please turn in all of your receipts from any SouthGlenn store/restaurant (including the library!) in the box in Lenski lobby. Receipts from all stores are eligible. A very quick and easy way to earn points for Lenski that does not cost you any money is to sign up for the Street Smarts email.
*** IMPORTANT*** To earn 1,000 points for your school and be added to the Street Smarts email subscription list, you must confirm your subscription by clicking the link in the email that is sent to the email address you provide. Signing up for this will not add a lot of junk mail to your email, it is just about the program. |

Spring Volunteer Sign-Up
February 2-10
Signing up to volunteer at Lenski for upcoming events and volunteer positions is easy! Look in your child's backpack and just check your interests and send the form back in! This is a great way to volunteer and help your PTO put on all of the exciting Lenski events. Please return your interest form by next Friday, February 10th!

Love from Lenski
February 8-9
On February 8th and 9th, Lenski students will have the opportunity once again to write and decorate Valentine's Day greetings during lunchtime. The Valentines will be delivered to several area hospitals and nursing homes, where they will be featured on patients' meal trays on Valentine's Day (guaranteed to bring a smile!) In order to make these heartfelt messages as creative and colorful as possible, we are once again asking for donations of Valentine stickers!! Whether you have a handful or multiple sheets, please drop them off in the collection box in front of the school office. Thank you!
If you are interested in volunteering, please click on the Lenski signup sheet. Volunteers will be needed to man the "creation stations" during lunchtimes, as well as deliver the Valentine cards to area facilities.

Save the Date for a TopsyTurvy Event!

Everything will be topsy-turvy on this fun-filled evening at Lois Lenski Elementary! There will be a jester's market, cake walk, royal food court, crafts and dancing. More information to come!

Google Doodle Contest
We would like to invite you and your child to enter the Google Doodle contest for students K-12. A Google Doodle is the art work that you sometimes see when you go to the Google home page to search - often the doodle highlights some current or historical event/person. Come Rec & Rock at Goodson Rec
Center!
Rec and Rock is held twice a month, 1st and 3rd Saturday nights, from 7-11 pm at Goodson Recreation Center (6315 S. University Blvd., Centennial). The program includes themed activities, contests, and gymnastics room, along with DJ and dancing, basketball and other gym activities plus concessions.
