Holiday Outreach
The Spirit of the Season!
The holidays are fast approaching, and it's time once again for Lenski's Holiday Outreach program, which helps families in need in the Lenski community. This year the need is even greater than in years past, so please consider a donation to the program. Your donation of cash or gift card(s), no matter the size, can really make a difference this holiday season. Donations will be collected from now until December 7.
Your donations can be dropped off in the school office (look for the gift-wrapped donation box) or sent to school in your child's folder in an envelope marked Holiday Outreach. Please make checks out to Lois Lenski PTO. These donations will be collected from now until December 7. Thank you for your generosity, which will bring some holiday cheer to those in the community who most need it!

Thanking Our Troops
November 11-18
In celebration of Veterans Day and Thanksgiving, Lenski has adopted service men and women in Afghanistan. During this 8-day campaign, students will have the opportunity to showcase the Lenski Superstar spirit by thanking these troops for their service to our country. They would love to hear from students and families, especially during the holidays.
To create a letter to send to the troops, please click here for a template of the letter. You'll also find them at our display in the front lobby. Participation is optional, but this provides a wonderful writing opportunity for all Lenski students. Feel free to include artwork! We're also asking for items for a care package. Click here for an updated list of these items. The deadline for letters and care package donations is this Friday, November 18. |
Yearbook Needs Your Photos...
Have you attended one of your kids' school activities and captured some great photos? Please send us your photos for consideration in the yearbook. We especially need photos from activities like art, music, band, chess club, spelling B's, math club, scouting, show stoppers/show kids, etc., but we'll take any great shots. Staff Appreciation Breakfast - Success!
Thanks to all of you for your wonderful donations - of time, food and decorations! The Fall Staff Appreciation Breakfast was a success. All the staff loved the wonderful smoothies - a gift from Mad Berry's Smoothies, and the homemade pastries made by our volunteers. We are so grateful for your participation!

Snowflakes Melt Alone...but together they can stop traffic!

Broncos Tackle Hunger Food Drive Touchdown!
Team Lenski executed a fabulous game plan in this year's Broncos Tackle Hunger Food Drive. Together at Lenski we collected 131 boxes. The entire community-wide effort collected 2,168 boxes to feed hundreds of hungry families in metro Denver. Thanks to ALL students, parents, teachers & staff members who helped us succeed in tackling hunger again this year. Your efforts are greatly appreciated. |
