The Stride 2011
Yearning for exercise, fun, and the opportunity to win $1,000 for Lenski? Want to earn your class an extra recess for tallying the highest number of registrants for your grade? Plan to run (skip, hop, or jump...) the Stride on Sunday, October 23rd!
Registration is still open at the Boulder Running Company & Runner's Roost (through Thursday), online at www.RuntheStride.com(through Friday afternoon), or at the Registration Tent in front of Littleton Museum (on Race Day)!
FRIDAY is STRIDE SPIRIT DAY at Lenski. Wear your Stride (or Lenski) t-shirts to school on Friday and again (along with your Running Club bracelets) at the Stride!

Lenski Running Club Training Finale
Join us at lunch recess this Thursday for the final Running Club session before the Littleton Stride.
Want to earn more shoes? Run the Littleton Stride on Sunday, October 23rd and earn 1 shoe per mile. Fun Run participants will receive 1 shoe, 5K participants will receive 3 shoes, and 10K participants will receive 6 shoes!
Collect your shoes at the Lenski tent at the Littleton Stride race.

Gift Wrap Limo Lunch Ride
For those students that sold 25 or more items, the limo ride will occur on Friday, October 21 from 10:45-1:45. Permission slips are due by Wednesday, October 19. Here is the schedule per grade:
Group 1 (KAM & 5th Grade): 10:45-11:45
Group 2 (1st Grade): 11:15 - 12:15
Group 3 (2nd Grade): 11:45 -12:45
Group 4 (3rd Grade): 12:15 -1:15
Group 5 (KPM & 4th Grade): 12:45 - 1:45

Lenski Helps Broncos Tackle Hunger
The clock is ticking down on our drive for the end zone. During the month of October, Lenski is partnering with the Broncos Tackle Hunger Team in an ambitious effort to feed hundreds of hungry families in metro Denver. Lenski students have the opportunity to serve our community by donating nonperishable food items. Please encourage your kids to bring items in and fill the boxes outside their classroom doors. We currently have filled 50 boxes and we are heading for the end zone and a goal of 150 boxes! |
