Lenski Wednesday Announcements for 4/13/11

The Buddy Breakfast is taking place this Friday, April 15. This is an open house format, so if you have a student attending with their buddy, feel free to come anytime between 7 a.m. and 8:45 a.m. If the adult attending needs to leave early, your child may stay and view a movie in the library starting at 7:15 a.m. Thanks for getting in those RSVP's! We look forward to seeing you on Friday.

Newton Showcase and Information Evening

On Thursday, April 14, Newton Middle School will host a tour of the school for incoming 6th graders and their parents. For further details about this tour and dates for orientation, please click on this flyer.

Parent Orientation Night

Powell Middle School will have an Orientation Night on Thursday, April 14 from 6:30-8:00 p.m. for parents only. Orientation will be as follows:

7:00-8:00 - Meeting in the school cafeteria

Lenski Blood Drive

Donors Still Needed!!!

On Thursday, April 21, Children's Hospital will host a blood drive at Lenski from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. If you would like to donate blood or food/drink items for the drive, please click on http://www2.mysignup.com/cgi-bin/view.cgi?datafile=lenski_blood_drive. There are still many spots to fill, so please consider donating to this worthy cause.

Summer Bridge Workbooks Available

The deadline for the Summer Bridge Math books is this Friday, April 15^th. You may download a copy of the order form, or pick one up in the school office.

Arapahoe High Summer Science Camp

This summer, from July 26-28, Arapahoe High School will be running a science camp for all students going into grades 3-6. 6th Grade Accelerated Math & Language Arts Placement Testing

If you are interested in accelerated math or language arts classes at Newton for your incoming 6th grader, there will be 3 dates available for placement testing.
