Moonlight Over Monte Carlo

Priceless Opportunities

Interested in a family vacation to the Caribbean island of Anguilla?  Or maybe your child wants to shadow a veterinarian, watch a baseball game from Rockies' General Manager Dan O'Dowd's private seats, or try skydiving for an afternoon?

Lenski's Moonlight Over Monte Carlo auction offers all of these opportunities and many more.  Check out hundreds of amazing items at lenskiauction.weebly.com.

And, on Friday, February 25th from 6:30-10pm, plan for an exquisite European-style evening with proceeds benefitting our school and our children.

Already committed on the 25th?  If you've RSVP'd, your kids become automatic auction "winners," receiving free 3 oz. coupons to Yogurtland and earning an opportunity to take home one of 3 prizes per classroom in a drawing TODAY.  The excitement is building for the most extravagant Lenski evening of the year.

Results of Graduation & Dropout Rates for LPS

The Colorado Department of Education released the 2009-10 graduation rate and dropout rate data for Colorado.  We are pleased to inform you that Littleton Public Schools continues to have the highest graduation rate and the lowest dropout rate of any school district in the Denver metro area.

Please visit the home page of the district website, http://www.littletonpublicschools.net to read more.

Thanks to students and volunteers for a successful Love from Lenski outreach!

Signed, sealed, and delivered!  Love from Lenski was a great success (again!) this year.  Lenski students made 740 valentines over the course of two days during their lunch times.  What a tribute to the students' creativity, industriousness, and genuine commitment to spreading some Valentine cheer!  The valentines were delivered to Littleton Hospital, The Johnson Center, and Sunrise at Orchard, where they were distributed to patients and residents on Valentine's Day.

Thanks to the following people for their help and assistance: Cady Collins, Missy McKesson, Lisa Myers, Holly Skrypek, Suie Tanner, and Kris Trauernicht.   Also, a big thank you to those who contributed valentines stickers for this fabulous community service project.

Colorado Student Assessment Program (CSAP) Testing

Beginning in late February, 2011, CSAP Testing will be conducted for students in 3rd-5th grades.  Please refer to this flyer from Dr. DeSpain for further information about this test, and to view the schedule for each grade.

Wanted:  Pictures for the 2010-11 Yearbook

If anyone took pictures of this school year's classroom activities, extracurricular activities (i.e. after-school art, Chess Club, Showstoppers), as well as Girl and Boy Scouts, can you please send them to Leslie Deniken for consideration for this year's Yearbook?
