Food Drive - Final Rush
Time runs out on the Broncos Tackle Hunger Food Drive THIS FRIDAY, OCTOBER 29. Help the hungry and homeless by sending in your cans, pasta & boxed
goods for one final week!

Fundraising Opportunities
We need your help! The Solicitation Team is doing it's best, but times are tough and donations to our events are down. Lenski has two important fundraisers coming up. We rely on creative and collaborative auction items to ensure their financial success. Everyone has something to offer! Please give this careful consideration.
What we need most:
Talents - gardening, cooking, coaching, sewing, tutoring, organizing, shadowing a professional
Hotel Stays - (doesn't need to be the Ritz!)
Organized Outings - golf, tennis, happy hour, tea, progressive dinners, theatre

Literacy Training offered at Lenski

Lobby Sales tomorrow for King Soopers Reloadable Cards
(Thursday, October 28)
Even if you didn't dress up as Little Orphan Annie for Halloween, you can still join the chorus singing our theme song about lobby sales: "Tomorrow, Tomorrow, I love ya, Tomorrow!" That's right Broadway fans, the famous and fantastic King Soopers Reloadable Grocery Cards will be on sale in the Lois Lenski lobby tomorrow, Thursday, Oct. 28, from 8:30 a.m.-9:30 a.m. Bring your checkbook, Daddy Warbucks -- this is a great opportunity to stock up on extra cards for your household.
Remember, our school receives 5% cash back automatically each time you reload your card with cash. The card can be used to buy gasoline, groceries, pharmacy items, other gift cards ... even Halloween candy!

Thanking our Troops Campaign
November 10-19
In celebration of Veterans Day and Thanksgiving, Lenski has adopted service men and women in Afghanistan. During our 9-day campaign, students will have the opportunity to show them our Lenski Superstar spirit by thanking these troops for their service to our country. They'd love to hear from students and families, especially during the holidays. A Big Thank You to the Littleton Stride Supporters & Coordinators
What a great day for a walk! Thank you to the community service team for an amazing job! Special thanks to Theresa Kovar, Deb Sabato and Lisa Myers. Peabody had the highest % of participants. Lenski and Wilder tied for 2nd place! We saw Lenski everywhere. It was great to see everyone out there and our families enjoying a great community building event. Thank you for spending your Sunday morning with us. |

Thank You to our 5th Grade Girl Scout Troop
A special thank you goes out to Abby G, Nicole W., Audrey D., Jessica P., Katie C., Lauren B., Lindsey V., Maddie G., Madison W., Megan L., and Izzy B. They worked hard last Thursday afternoon cleaning up the school's flower bed, putting down some fresh mulch and planting some tulip bulbs. Thanks, girls! |
