OLD McHENRY RE-PAVING UPDATE

 
The CN Railroad informed our contractor doing the Old McHenry Road re-surfacing project that a flagman has been assigned to the site so expect surface paving Monday & Tuesday 10/18,19 on Old McHenry between Quentin & Midlothian. Please plan your travels accordingly and thanks for your patiences.

How Do I Request a Ballot by Mail?
Illinois law now allows voters to request a ballot by mail for any reason.  Voters can make a one-time request or enroll in the Vote By Mail program which will allow them to receive their ballot by mail for all elections which they wish to participate in.
 
How Do I Vote Early?
Early voting is currently underway and runs until October 28.  To find your Early Voting location, please click here.

All Early Voting Sites are open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

HAUNTED HOUSE

 
For 19 years, St. Matthew's professionally constructed Haunted House has been an area favorite! Located at 24500 North Old McHenry Road, Hawthorn Woods, this years hours of operation are:

ADULT HOUSE: October 15th, 16th, 22nd, 23rd, 29th & 30th from 7:00pm until 11:00pm

KIDDIE HOUSE: October 17th, 23rd, 24th & 30th from 1:00 pm until 4:00pm

Adult House: $12.00.   Kiddie House: $6.00.
Buy your tickets using PayPal and reserve your ticket number in advance. Come any night the Haunted House is open and you will be moved directly through to the entrance area. CareCoach takes its free health services and educational programs on the road to 22 community sites each month. Services provided a registered nurse include:
  • Cholesterol screenings
  • Blood pressure screenings
  • Diabetes screenings
  • BMI screenings
  • Waist measurement screenings
  • Tobacco cessation services
  • Counseling with a registered nurse
  • Immunizations
  • Referrals to a physician, if needed

PRINT PRESCRIPTION DRUG CARD

 
County residents can take advantage of a prescription drug discount card program.  The free card that is accepted at most pharmacies offers average savings of 20 percent off the retail price of commonly prescribed drugs.  This is intended for people without prescription coverage or on medicines not covered by your plan.  The card may also be used where accepted to fill prescriptions for pets.
